I have always been an aimal lover and was raised in a house that was more like a petting zoo! I was always bringing home an Injured bird or hedghog for my dad to fix up. I spent my summers Volunteering at the local animal shelter or working at the stables. Im origanally from Nottingham England and moved to st. Albert in 2014 for my husbands job, We finally bought our dream acrage in 2016 and shortly after this amazing opportunity came up!
I love my job and will care for your furbabies with the same love I give my own.
Marty came to us from mattys cat sanctuary in 2017 and has been a greeter cat ever since! there is never a dog or person allowed in without Marty saying a hello and trying to shake your hand.
Jo-Ann has had an obsession with animals from a young age and Ron just decided to go along with it, they own Prairie Rose and together they have two St.Bernards Indy and Halo, along with their 4 cats Jesse, Clyde, Bob and Louis. They are always happy to meet everyone and they are always giving all your fur babies love.
As long as I can remember I have always had animals apart of our family. I honestly cannot imagine not having animals in my life. Though there would definitely be less hair. I lived in Edmonton for 10 years before my family made the decision to move out to a farm. Best decision we could have possibly made! I've never been happier and I'm living the dream. My fur family has grown quite a lot. We now have 2 cats, 4 dogs and 5 horses. Wouldn't change a thing. Working here brings me so much joy because I'm always spending time with loving animals. I'm thankful for the opportunity to take care of your fur babies and will care for them as if they were my own.
Bree here, the latest addition to the Prairie Rose Boarding Kennel team.
I'm an animal loving, at home mom to a two year old daughter.
We have a household of furry, feathered and scaled friends.
Having worked at the Edmonton Humane Society for many years, an assistant at a Veterinarian Hospital in Edmonton, I now call Ryley home where I enjoy my horse, two ducks, three cats, two dogs and a tank full of fish.

I grew up on a cattle farm that housed, not only cows, but also sheep, horses, pigs, chickens, cats, dogs, and rabbits...and the occasional bird that I found flightless somewhere on the farm. I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life and currently spend my free time on my acreage in Chipman with my two Boston terriers, Bugz and Cali, as well as my hedgehog Penny! When I’m not at the kennel, I enjoy the outdoors (hiking/camping/fishing/kayaking/etc) and my job as a Primary Care Paramedic. I love meeting and working with your furry friends at the kennel and I promise I treat them like my own....and probably talk to them a whole lot!
